A free, phone-first course teaching AI creative skills — images, short video, storytelling — to the people we already feed across London.
The hardest part of any programme is reaching people. We don't have that problem — thousands come through our food points each week. The academy meets them exactly where they are.
A QR code and a friendly volunteer at our food points. A two-minute chat, a name on the list. No forms, no barriers.
Short video lessons you watch anytime, one live online class a week, and a group chat for support. Everything works on a phone.
By week six you've built a portfolio, entered our Challenge, and taken first steps toward volunteering, freelance gigs or a placement.
If you have no phone, no data or nowhere quiet to work, we provide a tablet and a SIM with internet for the length of the course. Nobody is left out because of what they don't own.
Designed for people with no background in tech or design. Every week is practical, forgiving, and built around a phone.
Meet your group, receive a tablet & SIM if you need one, and make your very first AI image together. A gentle, welcoming start.
Turn words into pictures. Create a poster, a portrait, a scene — and understand how to guide the tools with good prompts.
Make a 15–30 second clip on your phone: cuts, captions, music. The format that pays on social platforms today.
Add voiceover and sound. Tell your own story, or a client's, in a way that holds attention.
Bring it together into a look and a message. Build a small brand kit for yourself or a local cause.
A brief that matters — for a charity, a small business, or your own idea. Mentored, start to finish.
An in-person celebration at a Food For All venue: work on the wall, Challenge awards, photos, and next-step introductions. Pizza included.
Made with the very same AI tools we teach — vegetarian food, posters and brand visuals, all producible from a phone. Examples for now; the wall fills with learners' own creations after each cohort.

Example creations produced with the course toolkit. Real learner work replaces these after the first Showcase Day.
Every lesson watched, every piece made, every classmate helped earns points. It turns learning into momentum, and gives everyone something to aim for.
An illustrative board. Top learners earn premium AI-tool seats, kit, and a direct route to volunteering & freelance work with us.
A set of images, a video and a project you made yourself — proof of what you can do, on your phone.
The skills small businesses and causes pay for today, plus introductions to first paid work.
A group that has your back, a reason to show up, and a place inside Food For All beyond the meal queue.
None at all. If you've never made anything creative and don't own a laptop, you're exactly who this is for. Everything is taught step by step and works on a phone.
We provide a tablet and a SIM with internet for the length of the course, and a quiet place to work if you need one. No one is turned away for what they don't own.
Nothing. The programme is completely free, including any device or data you're given to take part.
Never. This is an extra opportunity, not a condition. Your meals and any other support stay exactly the same whether you join, leave, or never sign up.
One live online class a week (about an hour) plus short lessons you watch whenever suits you. Most people spend a few hours a week, at their own pace.
You finish with a real portfolio, a celebration Showcase Day, and introductions to first paid work, volunteering or placements — with the door to Food For All staying open.
💛 Your place at our table never depends on this. Joining, leaving or skipping the academy has zero effect on your access to food or any other support. This is an opportunity, never a condition.
Fifteen places per cohort. If it's full, we'll hold your name for the next one — no one is turned away.
